I'm following this post trying to receive sensor events on Android:

I'm running on Samsung Galaxy S4 (Android Version 4.4.2). I am able to receive connected/disconnected events, but that's it. Nothing else shows up in the app. The headset seems to work fine with the device otherwise (pairs, connects, plays audio), but I don't get any other events no matter how much I mash on buttons or change audio. Unfortunately, I'm at a loss as to how to proceed from here, because there doesn't seem to be any info available about just what is going wrong, simply things aren't happening that should be. Clearly the events are working to some degree since I get connected/disconnected, but nothing else is working.
Any help would be appreciated.
